Tonight is the first time all year I watch the Hornets play. They have had some amazing fast break plays! Getting highly annoyed with myself for not following this team!
New Orleans spanking that Laker ass. Near 4 way tie for 1st in the west, especially if the spurs can come back vs the pistons, and rockets can hold on for win #21 in a row.
No Ray Allen from midway in the 2nd...obviously factored in, especially in the 4th when the Celts couldn't muster any offense. Great win for the Jazz. They are a team to be reckoned with.
I was a little worried about this team a few weeks or so ago like I always do before playoffs because of their road performance and the D is not what you would normally see from a Jazz team. However, they still never go down easy and have picked up the D again in the past 2 or 3 weeks. One big advantage they will have in the playoffs is that they have the best halfcourt offense in the league, IMO and that is usually crucial come playoff time.
They played pretty damn good, I'd say. Largest home crowd of the season for this one, and they were really into it. They also break 14k on the average, which puts them about 650 away from reaching the goal of 14,735. Tonight's attendance against the Lakers: 18,199 Average from December 1 to now: 14,084
The benchmarks as laid out in the contract (which are about to be pointless when the Hornets/State sign a new deal in the next few months)
Any news on Paul's and West's injuries? Heard Paul finished, but West went out. I hope this doesn't affect us to much. Got two huge games coming up.
Because the deal was announced after the season started and only the games after the deal was announced count towards the attendance part of the deal. Yes, I know... but it's still good to see how far they've come with the fans. :thumb: And, the deal hasn't been worked out, yet. Haven't checked on David West, but I know it was his good ankle that he hurt. Chris Paul is fine. He banged his head on one of the television cameras as he was going down. His ankle is okay, though.
