On vacation, will update list asap...but woohoo! Tillman is a stud...I don't think Washington will get an offer now unless he does something unreal this year.

Well what does this mean for more D-line offers? What about Shaw and Washington were does this leave them?

Both are getting offers if the want to play OL I believe (I'm positive about Chaz, not sure about Shaw), but they want to play DL. Big schools are going to offer both to play DL so I don't know if either will be coming to LSU.

yeah.. im sure if he had committed to USC, Texas, or Miami he would be magically running a 4.2... players always seem to drop when they commit to LSU...

Added Alex Cate, QB from Utah to commit list! Welcome Alex!

He's the son of a coach and former Utah QB...above average arm, quick release, good touch, very smart. Was blown away by his trip to BR and Jimbo/Les. Scarborough of tigerbait says he's a high 3 or maybe even 4 stars, will depend on his senior year. Stars don't mean anything though, his videos show he knows wtf is going on and will have a bright future here.

Also, I think he mentioned that Alex would be graduating early so that he can come for spring practice. I think that is a huge advantage for a quarterback, to get early exposure to the system. I also think this is the only quarterback we are recruiting this year and he looks like a good one.

He already has enough credits to graduate..he does not even have to attend class next year if he doesn't want to. We were recruiting many QBs...but we'll only take one - so now that he's committed I would think the others will be notified their ship is taken.

I'm a firm believer that the rankings will shine favorably on recruits going to Texas, Florida, and California schools. You cater to your biggest markets. Rivals.com is, when all things are said and done, a business.
