Maybe you do not remember OSU in the 1980's with Mike Gundy, Thurman Thomas, Leslie O"Neil and Barry Sanders. Then probation hit and the struggle now is to get back to where they were at that time. Six years of probation makes it rough but it is doable in time. And we have beaten Bob Stoops more than anyone else!!

Van Gorder is not known in this area anymore than Miles is. Also, Karl Dunbar is going to be our D-Line coach, and he has excellent contacts in this state, and recruited the state very well for OSU.

So you're saying Saban being 9-2 meant more success than Les Miles' 7-4 record this year? LOL...Daisy chain logic at its best...

Nick Saban was worth a 2 million dollar buyout...You're smoking the white clouds of opium to think otherwise...He was worth 6 million over 5 years, an ultimately, 2.3 million per year. Skip Bertman just made the statement on air in the PC that there WAS NO MILLION DOLLAR BUYOUT, PERIOD. Looks like you're wrong there, too.

No, it does not. If you had just agreed to a raise, and someone came in here and offered you 4 times your salary or a better job...What would you do...Tell them you had a commitment to your employer? You're operating on such an antiquated set of professional loyalty ideals, it borders on the idiotic. Miles did what was best for himself when he signed a new contract. When a new situation came up, he again made the best decision for himself. Just like Nick Saban. Just like anyone else out there. How can you bemoan him for that?

Phil Fulmer, Steve Spurrier, and Mark Richt would love to talk to you about that statement...True, Nick Saban won championships with a great defense, but it's not the only way to skin a cat. You & your friends personal opinions are fine, but those are yours and yours alone. There is absolutely no need to infect the fanbase with opinionated negativity that's based on pure conjecture on your part. Your earlier comment about a million dollar buyout that Bertman just proved did not exist shows you aren't informed as you should be. So why open your mouth with negativity?

LSU gave up 30 points to a team that ranked last in Division 1A in rushing offense. They also ran for a touchdown against our vaunted defense. Are you going to say that one game, one defensive performance, defines his career, his coaching style, and his future success? You've GOT to have more than this, don't you?

By the way...4-2-5 defense is what most people call a "nickel" defense...and LSU ran that defense as its base. Period, point blank. Please tell me I'm lying...It'd complete my job of showing you as a complete ignoramus who knows nothing of football a lot more quickly...

Tepper was the last nincumpoop DC in the SEC who thought for a moment that he could get away with playing a 4-3-4 as a base defense...4-2-5 is your base in the SEC, and its your base in most BCS conferences nowadays. Nice call there, Bill Belichick lite!

Perhaps the ONLY thing that approaches a legitimate complaint in this entire, rambling, incoherent excuse for a "take" on TF...

Remind me what happened with Nick Saban as the head coach in the 2000 season against the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Wow...You mean even good coaches can choke?

Wait...What about 2002, in the season finale, when we were going to go to our 2nd straight SEC Championship game? What ended up being the final score? Who ended up single-handedly beating us after playing his worst game of his career, by both his coach and his own admission? Wow...Saban choked with a championship on the line? I can't believe it...How can you explain this and still say that Saban was a good coach? Sheesh...This is silly.

As for the comment about a lack of imagination or creativity...How in the hell did OSU play OU so closely? How in the hell did OSU get up 35-7 on Texas? I'm sure it was purely by the Grace of God...Right? Please explain...

So beating OU in 2001 & 2002 was just a fluke, right? Doing as well as they did was just a fluke, right? Give me a break...They guy's been a head coach and recruited guys like Roshaun Woods, Kyle Fields, Morency, and a lot of others. He's hired top flight guys like Karl Dunbar, and coached under the likes of legends like Bo Shembechler...Please, please, PLEASE open your mouth some more...We all need a good laugh after the Cap 1 Bowl!

Give me a break...You're going to say that Saban winning the MAC and Miles not winning the Big XII means that Miles won't be a good fit? Your idiocy is mind numbing...
