i really like the way this class is shaping up. not alot of quanity, but def. alot of quality!

    filling most of our holes.

getting alot of out of state recruits aswell.

still alot more to be had, with the potential for a real big score or two.

hats off to the staff on a good job done so far!

gonna be hard to be top 5 with only about 17 total dontcha think? who cares about x amount of stars anyhow. long as little nickie likes wants em then its automatically good. in other words as long as nick saban is here, we don't have to lose sleep over lack of talent.

The boys on CTSD said that we are #1 in the SEC as of now...
...and usually #1 SEC is top 3 in the USA.... :thumb:

I think we will be 4 or 5. If we miss out on some guys that we are counting on (Nic Harris, McNeil, and a couple others) maybe 7 or 8. But I dont think top five is a stretch by any means. I am sure there will be some surprises again like JR, Hawkins, Ryan Miller. I will never doubt Saban as a recruiter.

Some of the services look at the quantity but others look at the average rating of the recruits, so the number of recruits should not matter much. USC and OU both had small classes last year and ranked very high.

We need to look at my alma mater Assumption Mustangs at the weakside linebacker. A fella named Yashua Willis. He's out of this world

No offense but I don't think we'll pick up a 5-9, 185 lb linebacker with 4.8 speed. He's a good high school player but he will not be playing college ball, especially not D1.

I like this class but would really like a couple of good solid QB's. Would be nice if we got the in-state qb but as long as we sign 1 or 2 top quality i will be happy.

I think the young linebackers coming up and maturing will help this defense get even better. I think that is where this defense falls short. We have good linebackers . Not great linebackers.
