And we did pretty well in 2003, I'd say.

Yup... beating UGA was fun that year.

Our team had a pulse prior to that game, I seem to recall.

We beat them 17-10 in Death Valley that year in a nail-biter. This year, we beat them 20-13 @ Georgia in a nail-biter (same place Saban led LSU to the worst ever loss to Georgia in LSU history... 2004, Georgia 42, LSU 16).

We did beat Miss. St. 41-6 in 2003. What difference does 2003 make!

Saban teams never looked this bad.

Yeah that was a great year... I lived in Charlotte and my two neighbors (above and next door) were UGA and Gator fans... so we had fun saturdays then. I remember the 04 UGA game too, my neighbor didn't let me live it down.

um, Saban led LSU to the worst ever loss to Georgia in LSU history... 2004, Georgia 42, LSU 16. And don't get me started on all the other implosions he led us to. And yeah, a 3-13 loss to Urban Meyer's #1 Gators is much worse than how Saban led LSU to a 7-19 loss in Death Valley to Ron Zook's 8-5 Gators.

It was 45-16. Come on man, get it right.
And this team doesn't touch the 2003 defense. Not even close.

Yes, I remember the 19-7 loss to Florida well. Tiger offense couldn't do anything right that day. The only LSU touchdown came on a Skyler Green punt return in the 1st quarter.

And Saban was the coach for several bad LSU performances. The worst games were when the Tigers didn't have an effective quarterback, just like now. :helmet:

But nothing can compare with that 03 Tiger defense. Wait, the Tide's 09 defense can.

The Gators current defense is pretty good too. This is the biggest reason why the Tide and the Gators will play for the SEC Championship, and one will win the national title.
