I know... I don't either... it's just constantly being pointed out over and over again ;p *makes note to self to not forget sarcasm tags....
Mathieu doesn't need to play on offense, but it would greatly help the cause if he broke a punt return or two for scores. The fact that he's getting attention without any offense/ST prowess speaks volumes. Woodson's numbers his Heisman season were mediocre, and certainly no better than PP7s last season. In fact, I think Woodson only scored once that season. He played offense, but didn't do anything much.
For any Heismann list not to have T Mathieu as #1 at this point of the season shows how much it truly goes to THE MOST outstanding imo. No player to this point has impacted gameS more than he has and in so many different aspects as well.
Come on that's just being a homer. Robert Griffen III and Boyd have both carried their teams on their back. Look at Issy's list, he doesn't have Mathieu at #1 either.
RGIII has more TD passes than INCOMPLETIONS!! Unreal. He's easily the frontrunner as it stands. The only thing I disagree with Issy on is Sammy Wadkins needs to be ahead of Andrew Luck so far.
Well unless he's passing to himself I'm not impressed. T Rex does. People see qb's throw TD passes every game. How many times you get to see what TM just did...AGAIN.
He actually batted down the ball in such a way it was behind him so that he could go back and scoop it up himself. Truly never seen a player like this. The broadcast crew got it wrong and said Brooks caused the fumble. I guess they wouldn't believe tm7 could do both.
Yeah it's incredible. Like you say, these aren't accidentally available to him after he stips it. It's all some freak technique he has.
Let's not minimize RGIII. The guy has more TDs than incomplete passes. It's all about over the course of the season though.
