We continue to see this debate in the media. Obviously I'm not Bama fan but the bottom line is several teams had an opportunity to be ranked number 2 but they all lost. Regardless how many people that are against a rematch every team they could have justifiably voted in as #2 lost. Bama has one close loss against the unanimous #1 team. The only other team I would like to see us play is OSU for the story lines. I have no doubt the LSU players are looking forward to playing Bama again and putting any doubt to rest.

i hope they get screwed but id also enjoy putting saban on official suicide watch. losing to les for the trifecta would turn tuscaloser upside down for the next few years. and it would decrease their population by 1/2 immediately after.
I deplore bama even worse than saban or lefire: Cant decide what would piss them off more losing to us a second time or missing the whole show. whichever it is I hope that happens.
I said Alabama, but they shouldn't play for the title game. For all we know LSU could play Okie state or virginia tech and get completely blown out, and then the thought that anybody considered a rematch would be laughable.
I voted for Bama. I don't think they deserve another shot at LSU since they already lost, and not being a conference winner. Would rather see Oklahoma St or Stanford. However, I don't think Bama is invincible if LSU plays them again. If Bama think they can play better, so can LSU! That would be the ultimate challenge for this special LSU team: to beat number 2 TWICE, if it comes to a rematch. This LSU team has been able to handle all kinds of different challenges the whole season:tigereye:
