2 QB system failed. .. and so did game plan.

    I think this was ... and may be the problem with the LSU offense. As someone already noted, even if you had Joe Montana in as QB, he couldn't have been effective because he simply didn't have the time to allow the play to develop.

    I can't blame the defense for the second half. I mean .. when you never get a break against such an offense .... at some point, you're just going to get too tired to fight it.

    Still ... I can't wrap my mind around a game plan that does not exploit the greatest weakness of the AU defense. For some reason, our OC seems to think the only kinda pass you can make is one that goes for greater than 10 yrds. I mean ... 2 - 6 yard passes equals a first down. There are certain types of passes that just can't be easily defended, and I never see our system run them. We might have been a hell of lot more successful in the run if our OC would've opened it up a bit with some passing game.
