http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-missingboaters-nfl&prov=ap&type=lgns Why would Cooper's father question the lone survivors account?
Denial. No one wants to hear that their son lost his head and took off his life jacket. But it happens fairly frequently. People have been stranded in lifeboats for days and weeks. They wake up one morning and somebody has just quietly gone over the side . . . couldn't take it anymore. Exposure causes you to become disoriented, distraught, and often despondent. People experience hallucinations and can get suicidal. On the other hand, the survivor experienced the same things and his memory may be playing tricks on him, too.
I don't think they get suicidal. They just don't know what the hell they're doing. One time, in college, I got really drunk and as I was working on my first prayer to the porcelain gods, I was taking my clothes off. It didn't make any sense but at the time I just felt like i needed to be unencumbered by such things. I woke up the next morning in my boxers on the floor of the bathroom. Pretty much the same thing.
I still don't believe him Im sorry and ever since he was found and I actually think he killed them sorry just had to get it out. Just seems funny now he's saying everyone but him took off their life jacket.
I don't think he killed them, prolly more like survival of the fittest scenario out there. And you got 4 big guys trying to hold that lower unit. Nothing else to hold onto.
Well, monkeys could fly out of his butt, too. There is no reason to suspect the survivor for surviving.
One report said that the anchor was hung up in coral and when the waves got big it was keeping the boat from floating properly. They were trying to free the anchor when the boat capsized. Anchors are cheap, why not cut the line and run before the wind?
