Re: 2 new commits Byrd is expected to qualify & be here next week. Benton didn't qualify, and will probably be a part of this year's class. Sonny confirmed that Darron did commit, but it just hasn't gone public yet.
Re: 2 new commits I don't have a link...read it during lunch in the Times Picayune (Thursday). I may have misread it. BUT, I have been looking for his name every time I see any publication about LSU's depth chart...and I ain't seen it yet.
Re: 2 new commits OK...but again, while reading the transcripts from media days...Miles was asked specifically about who will step up amongst the young WRs this season. He mentioned Lafell, and even Tolliver...but again...no mention of Byrd. Your quote was of BYRD saying Byrd will be at camp...I believe I read that he still needed 2 classes to become eligible. Why else would there be NO mention of him from anyone...anywhere??

Re: 2 new commits The staff will know about Byrd next week and everything is looking really good for him to play at LSU this upcoming season. Expect 6 WR's signed this recruiting season.... Jhyrn Taylor - will not qualify at this current time. Chris Tolliver and DeAndre Brown - both have academic issues to overcome. Tolliver is closer than Brown; however both can reach the point of success.
Re: 2 new commits It's not public, but he did commit to the coaching staff. This is confirmed by Sonny at TigerRag, which is good enough for me. The same thing happened with Will Blackwell last year, where he commited but it wasn't public for about 2 weeks but Sonny told us from the beginning.
