2 guys from parkview in BR, Lyle Hitts (DE, 6'3", 270) and Deary Beckwith (LB, 6'1", 220) per Mike S. Saban already is starting early. I guess these guys must be really that good if Saban already offered them. But we have a short list to fill, and we can only afford to get the best now. Hey DD, can you start another sticky with the lists?
Yeah if these guys were offered, they must be special. LSU will only be able to sign about 15 players. So every one of these will have to be top notch in Saban's eyes.
When it is all said and done I think the number will be closer to 20. There is always a player or two that moves on for various reasons that has eligibility left. With the talent we picked up in the last two classes some older guys will start feeling the heat and will have to develope into a real player or look for playing time elsewhere.
I really hope Jacob Lennox from Parkview either commits to LSU or walks on. I've been good friends with him since we were 5 years old. He's a great athlete and he's a real hard worker.
