this has only happened twice in the super bowl era.
    72 dolphins won every game
    07 patriots lost super bowl.
so, reg season undefeated teams are 1-1.
    i like our chances.

i know the undefeated Pats had a good D, but how good was the D for the Rams when they won (in 99?). seems like there are a lot of similarities. no marshall faulk on N.O. though (damn bush).

i think the saints will be able to outscore every team. it doesnt seem like their is a dominant D for them to worry about. id be concerned about Minn getting to brees without the blitz.

I think the only team that can throw up points like the Saints are the Colts, which means the only time the Saints would possibly have to face them is in the Super Bowl, outside in Miami. I like the Colts D a hell of a lot better than the Saints D right now.

On a side note about that matchup, i would absolutely love to see the Saints beat the Colts in the Super Bowl so Archie can watch his son lose to the team he could never win with. I can't stand the Mannings.

    Watch the Pats game again.

When we play at home, our defense is much better.

Watch the Dallas game this week.

    You will have you answer.

3 critical players are coming back (Fujita and Porter for Dallas game, Greer for Carolina game or the playoffs)

Gregg Williams can go back to what he does best, harassing the QB into mistakes.

The Saints not only need to have a 1st round bye they need to have home field throughout. If they don't I don't see them making it to the Super Bowl unfortunately. If we have to go to Minni for the NFC Champ game that will be a nightmare. 1 loss regular season won't be a killer, but we need to shore up the injuries and be healthy for the post season.

Saints defense won that game yesterday. I'm more concerned about our lack of Red Zone TDs the last 2 weeks.

The D sealed the deal but they damn sure didn't win it. I'm more concerned with two kickers that can't even make extra points. You're going to need one of them to hit a clutch field goal somewhere in a playoff run.
