    And the Redskins?
Playoffs will be even worse according to your logic, those are the teams that will give the Saints their best shot.

Guys, your LSU mentality is showing. Saints are undefeated, Division Champs, first round bye and likely home field throughout. They are scared of us. Sure the other teams will be up for the playoffs. So will the Saints.

LSU has nothing to do with what I am saying. regular season undefeated teams dont always win the superbowl. All I asked was their defense good enough to win one, Im not complaining about their record. I see a problem in the defense right now. Hopefully its good enough to win the Superbowl

They did beat "The New England Patroits" the defense has been coming up big when they have to and that they are with out there two starting cornerbacks and w/an injured Sharper and Gay playing hurt. Think about the game yesterday Defense came up with Two Back to Back stops to secure the game Vilma's Interception which gave the ball to the offense in great field position to score and ice the game but they didnt do nothing with it. Then Vilma came up with the big stop on 4th and 2 to end the game. So I guess we will see but guess you just gotta have faith that the Defense can do it.Saintslogo

I'm not worried about our defense at all...when everyone's healthy. The impact of Greer's and Porter's absence is devastating. Without them, QB's are able to make most of their throws on time. They're not being forced to check down nearly as often, which contributes to our sack totals coming down. After an All-Pro start, Darren Sharper has looked vulnerable for the last few weeks. Could it be because he's having to try to help the cornerbacks a lot more instead of sitting back and reading the QB's?

No ones complaining, the Saints are one Hell of a team having one Hell of a season. This is a discussion on whether or not the D is good enough for them to win it all. There is no doubt that the D is the weakest link and it has shown so against some really weak competition lately. If all of the DB's are healthy they will be much better. With Jenkins and Gay as the starters I don't think they go all the way.

If you are a Saints fan you should be used to it, albeit not usually this late in the season, but yeah........

I agree though, the defense is not good right now. Watch out for Carolina on the road, i don't think the game will matter, at least i hope it wont, but the Saints are 2 different teams on the road vs. at home. Which leads me to believe that if they make it to the Super Bowl, if the defense doesn't get its act together, they will lose. Miami, outdoors, this defense could get exposed, and i am still waiting for Sean Payton to have his moment where he tries to get way too cute. Good thing is that all of the Saints problems are fixable, they have to get better away from the Dome though..

Lets not forget Brees didnt have a good game in Miami either he constantly put the defense in bad positions majority of that game had like 4 Turnovers maybe 3 INTs and a fumble lost.
