    The anti-abortion crowd is definitely influenced by religious beliefs that they want the goverment to impose on the non-religious and religious alike. But the Montana militias and kooks like McVeigh are influenced by ultra-right anarchists.

    There are some pretty violent left groups. New black panthers and the labor unions come to mind.

    I really don't hear much about labor violence anymore, since the Mob is mostly out of the picture now. Nor murders by the black panthers, they are more mouth than action. Most of the radical left is about protest rather than violent action. I don't mean to suggest that they can't be violent, just that they don't seem to practice it like the radical right.

    Then there are radical kooks like the unibomber with no particular political leanings other than anti-technology.

    The left, right, and middle are plagued with radicals.

    People that think other people should do or dont do what they think is best are usually pushy or aggressive. If more people agreed to disagree and left it at that. We could probably accomplish more as a nation. I hunt and fish year round. If joe doesn't then that's fine. I believe in and practice gun ownership. Joe don't like guns,that's fine. Just leave mine alone. I believe in God. You don't then that's fine also. So on and so on. People need to pay attention to their lives and not worry what someone else is doing. I love LSU football. My friends love Bama. Fuck them gumps.

    Red what about the enviornmental activists from Earth First (or what ever) just arrested for sabotage...what about the unibomber a wacko but a left wing wacko. There is a violent left around red it just doesn't get the play from the liberal media.

    I have just criticized radicals at both ends, but I reiterate . . . Green Peace sabotage and harassing whalers in speedboats does not rise to murder and terror bombings performed by right wing extremists.

    What makes ted Kazinski a left-winger? Nothing. His politics revolved around anarchy and neo-Luddism. The only mention of leftists in his "Manifesto" is highly critical. He railed on and on about "oversolicialization". One might even consider him a rightist because of this. But most agree that he was all about his peculiar philosophy of anti-government and anti-technology. This is why I didn't list him as a conservative radical. Neither can you paint him as a liberal one. Pandering to politics just did not fit in with his positivism philosophy.

    It doesn't get play from FOX either. There just isn't that much of it.

    so martin, you are going to be in caracas right near the end of the 30 day period when chavez must be sworn in, but he is still really unhealthy and people are going nuts, do you fear civil war?

    your argument is a mess. even if child abuse is worse that putting a bullet in a head, how does that make gun control bad policy? and its a lot easier to regulate guns than parenting. no matter what you wackos think, taking all guns away would not be an injustice of the ages. but how do you propose to stop a father from molesting his child?---cameras in the home? maybe take away all rights of men to be around any children. there will always be child abuse---it is horrible. but there has not always been 30k gun deaths in the US every year.

    and all your politician rants are scary.
