    If you read the papers of the founders, in reference to the 2 nd amendment. You'll see they had oppressing govt in mind also. image.jpg

    If you look at how the military votes you will see that they vote about 70-75% republican. They take an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and Domestic. The majority o the ones I know take that very seriously. They may fight who the govt says but they will defend family, friends and loved ones first and foremost. They only swear to obey Lawful orders. They don't blindly follow orders.

    Where are your facts? Why would a gun be a safe thing to own? It's an instrument of killing and in the news every single day somebody kills with one. This idea that a gun is a useful defense tool for an individual is obviously absurd and requires extraordinary evidence and you act as if my position requires more than the mountain of evidence I have provided.
