With the Celtics beginning what could be an intereting run this season (hopefully eventually Big Baby will play a role), I have been thinking about all the great Celtic teams over the years and the players and coaches who are all part of their storied history. Pistol Pete played for them in 1980. He played hard and very smart, one of the first great "sixth men." Hope the Celtics get the ship righted this year. The organization has never recovered after the death of Len Bias.
He had a pretty nice shot block on that ridiculously talented Sean Williams last night. Sean Williams is a big man, and Big Baby kind of came up behind him.
Big Baby played very well las night and some of the comments by his teammates lead me to believe his playng time is going to increase a lot once the NBA game comes to him. As for favorite players. If you can be white while sporting a serial killer/porno 'stache and still be the best player, you're the man. LB33
