Anyone else watching right now? I don't care for either of these teams so I'm rooting for the underdogs (Pitt) who are leading 13-7 right now. Pretty good game (all things considered).

YUP .. I"m watching. Seems like a pretty good matchup. I"m for PITT myself. I just hate everything about Florida .. except the women.

    I'm pulling for South Florida.

It's a good story and I hope they can keep it going.

I still like Pitt for their efforts in a few years ago.

Missouri and West Virginia opened the weekend one victory away from a potential meeting for the national championship, but both stumbled in their final games. Missouri fell to Oklahoma 38-17 in the Big 12 championship, while West Virginia lost 13-9 at home to 28-point underdog Pittsburgh.

The losses by Missouri and West Virginia allowed Ohio State to rise from the No. 3 position to the top spot in the final BCS poll. LSU moved up from No. 7 to No 2.

Although I live on Amelia Island, we have a condo in Clearwater for my business and I'm over there most every week. Watching the fan base grow for South Florida over the past few years has been something to behold.

I doubt if many know that USF is the 8th largest public university in the nation in enrollment. UF is 6th and Central Florida is 3rd. Both USF and UCF have a bright sports future in front of them, especially USF, as their commitment is stronger than UCF right now.

Their loss last night will actually help my Hawkeyes in the computer polls, as we beat Pitt, but USF has posted some big wins over the past few years, beating Clemson in their bowl, Florida State, Miami, a 13th ranked Kansas, and winning at Auburn.

If I had a say in who the SEC should add for the 14th team, I'd look real hard at USF.
