I agree...would’ve gone down as one of the greatest ever! My point to Tap was that it looked like Miles drew up the game plan in the dirt in the parking lot 5 minutes before kick off and screwed what should’ve been a great game.

 

Any head coach with a lick of common sense would’ve tried something to change the outcome. Miles did nothing.

 

I knew before that game ever started that Miles was going to go with the same game plan as the first Bama game. I also knew that Saban would know that and be prepared for it.

What is unforgivable is not putting Lee or even Mettenberger in to start the second half. I don't think we ever crossed the 50 yard line in the first half.

Any sane man would have made changes. If Les had made those changes and we still lost at least we could say he tried and forgave him.
