    Rivals 250 Watch List

    1.Terrance Broadway
Baton Rouge (LA) Capitol QB 6-1/197 list
Broadway is an athletic quarterback prospect that has proven to have all of the intangibles and leadership skills you look for in the position. He can hurt you with his arm or his legs and as a sophomore he threw for over 3,000 yards and rushed for just under 800. - Spotlight on Terrance Broadway

    2.Luke Charpentier
River Ridge (LA) John Curtis OL 6-4/290 list
Charpentier sat out his sophomore season after transferring to national power John Curtis and as a junior he has made up for lost time. Charpentier anchors the offensive line in John Curtis’ overpowering veer rushing attack and his tenacity and athleticism in the run game should make him a hot commodity among college coaches. - Spotlight on Luke Charpentier

    3.Rashad Givens
Monroe (LA) Richwood DE 6-4/225 list
Though he is still raw and learning the position, Givens is an elite athlete that has tremendous upside for Richwood high school. He is long and fast and he is only going to get better.

    4.Nick Jacobs
Many (LA) Many TE 6-5/245 list
Jacobs is a big-bodied tight end that impressed coaches at the LSU camp over the summer. At 6-foot-5, 245 pounds, Jacobs runs a 4.8 40 and jumps 34 inches. He also shows his athleticism by averaging over 17 points on the basketball court as a sophomore.

    5.Trovon Reed
Thibodaux (LA) Thibodaux WR 6-0/172 list
One of the top wide receiver prospects in the state of Louisiana, Reed took over quarterbacking duties for his Thibidaux high school team out of necessity. His move has paid dividends as he is able to use his athleticism and speed to make plays with the ball in his hands on every play. Despite his play at quarterback, Reed proved himself as a wide receiver throughout the summer camp circuit.

    6.Ronnie Vinson
New Orleans (LA) Isidore Newman School ATH 5-11/186 list
Great all-around athlete that likely projects best at safety. He has good hips and already looks the part as far as body type. Vinson showed in several camps that he has the ability to be an elite safety but he has also shown as a junior that he can be a special playmaker with the ball in his hands as well. - Spotlight on Ronnie Vinson

Re: 14 LOUISIANA RECRUITS NAMED TO THE 2010 ESPN 150 WATCH LIST

This year i am thinking about compiling a list of of the top 25 players from louisiana. I intend to compile film on as many louisiana players as possible and attend at least two games of each one in order to evaluate. However i will need a little help from you fans down I-10. I also will be building a web page to display all the film and compile a player profile complete with each players own message board so we can get each others opinion on that particular recruits skill set. I hope you see the reason why i will be stopping my rankings at 25 however there will be a section were we can rank the remaining players and move rankings accordingly throughout the season..I would like to section the state into fourths so ill be looking for a little help from true fans. if you are interested let me know :geaux:

No Jordan Allen? Are you kidding me? That guy will likely be a top 5 player consensus in LA this year...

Yep, I said this a few days ago when I told Bhelm that I thought the Rivals list was better, thinking he was on the 250 list. When I did a quick check he wasn't on the Rivals list either. That's when I told Bhelm, "nevermind" like Guilda Radner. The ESPN list actually has more LA boys on it than the Rivals list.

Any question about this even being close to a down year has been thrown out the window.

    Good stuff.

I'm just going on a hunch here but is Jonathan McKnight Joe's brother? If so we know where he is headed..

Not sure where he is headed.

All I heard is he may not receive an offer from LSU and other top programs because of his size and he is not the athlete his brother is.

I am sure someone will take a chance on him and I am not ruling LSU out of giving him a chance.

little brother is not as stuck up as older brother.

But should he decide to go elsewhere, no loss.

I'd rather not cheer for a John Curtis kid unless I have to.
