I think his sisters just want to be teenagers, not have very personal information about them serve as fodder for self-righteous internet crusaders.

Successful in what? My opinion is my opinion, and until you can prove this fucker isn't a child molester then I think he is one. Not that any burden of proof is on you to exonerate them in the eyes of public or anything, I'm just saying for me personally I think the rabbit hole goes far deeper. The family has lied and covered up as much as possible, they have lied in interviews, and I believe the sisters are lying too because their father and mother have brainwashed them. its an opinion. If these people were named Clinton I bet you'd be persecuting them.

It is your opinion and yet it isn't supported by facts, just feelings....most likely your feelings are at least somewhat driven by their fundamentalist religion.

That's just not true. Had they lied and covered up as much as possible, they never would have brought their son to authorities in the first place, they would still be denying that anything happened (like most families do in these cases), and they would not be on TV saying, "HE DID THE WRONG THING." "HE MADE A MISTAKE." What he did was "VERY WRONG." Tell me how that is lying. I don't know that they have lied in interviews. I do believe they are simple-mindedly mistaken in their understanding of the law. Other than that, specifically what lies did they tell?

What are they lying about? They have said he behaved very wrongly....12 years ago....and that they have forgiven him and moved on. That's what happens in families. That's what many adult victims of childhood abuse say and do. I asked before and I will ask again.....what specifically would you need to hear them say in order for you to believe they aren't brainwashed? Because if you got nothing, then your opinion is based solely on your predisposition about their fundamentalist beliefs and not anything to do with the realities of childhood sexual abuse.

You are full of shit here. I am not willing to persecute anyone who owns up to what they did (particularly a child), has asked for forgiveness, and is making every attempt to move forward in their life. Last I checked, the Clintons don't own much of anything other than money, they don't ask for anything other than money, and they have no problems moving forward.

I wouldn't need to hear anything and I brought up the Clintons because you personally have ripped her to shreds over emails. And your whole basis behind it is, well they are the clintons and they have lied before. And that's fair. These fuckers have lied. They got all this swept under the rug, they lied in an interview about it, and I don't trust that they are telling the truth and its my firm belief that they would have crusaded to have anyone else locked up forever.

It absolutely shocks me that while you say he did something wrong you are willing to take a dude who molested a 5 year old and his parents word for it. Yes I think their religion has a lot to do with it. It's very a very Christian thing to do to cover up molestation, just ask the Catholic Church and I'm a damned Catholic.

Whose word would you like to take instead? The "dude", the victims, and the parents have spoken even though none of them had to. Is your suspicion, based on imagination, supposed to be relevant here?

That is what most folks would considered close-minded. But you are certainly entitled to it.

Yes, I ripped a grown adult over her extremely poor judgment....and she happened to use that judgment when she was the Secretary of State for the US and handling very dangerous issues that impact the entire country.

What are the specific lies? What lies did the girls make during their interview this week? I really don't think they would have crusaded to have a 14-year old locked up forever, not even one who wasn't family.

He was a 14-year old "dude". Not a legal adult in the eyes of the law or most people. He admitted it. He took responsibility for it. He's still taking responsibility for it. He hasn't tried to deny or mitigate it. There are adults who wouldn't do as much. What more do you think happened?

It's not just a "Christian" thing to do, it's a human (not humane) thing to do. Molestation happens in every socio-economic strata, every race, every religion, non-religion, you name it. It occurs more often in some than others and gets covered up just the same, but this is not about being Christian.

My suspicion is based on the fact that this dude already diddled his 5 year old sister. At that point anything that comes out of his mouth is completely suspect.

You take illegal drugs with a child in the house, why should anybody believe anything you say? I've done things I ain't proud of, but it doesn't automatically make me a liar.
