some guy just called in Condon's show named John, and i don't know how true this is, or if this guy is just some random dude calling in, but he just said that he is a good friend of Lyle Hitt, and Lyle said the Linebackers for State were calling audibles at the line based on the formations, and that our offense has become very predictable, and the defenses know what plays are coming, and that Lyle and the line are extremely frustrated with the play calling. I don't know how true this is, and actually i hope it's not. Does anyone think that this is valid? I am not trying to start anything, but if this is true, it really pisses me off, because this isn't something that needs to be aired coming from players. Fans, ok, but a player shouldn't be criticizing the coaching staff on the collegiate level. When they go pro, have at it.
There have been a lot of rumors about this but this one involving Hitt is new so I wouldn't give it much credibility. The MSU DL were pointing in the holes on running plays. Some said that they thought they were stealing our signals from the sideline. Some even brought up a rumor about a Florida coach taping our sideline last year and must have passed the info to Mullen. If the coaches think it is signal stealing I wouldn't be surprised if we see the team huddle up some this weekend or they will simply change up the signals.
If Crowton really wants to confuse Georgia he needs to have Shep and Trindon in the game simultaneously, and get the ball to someone else....
back to oklahoma state and get their head coach, no one would be able to figure out what the play is, including the players.
I say we get Belichick as head coach, Saban as DC and say Meyer as OC. Pete Carroll and Mack Brown can split recruiting duties.
