i pull for bama whenever i can because of a young man that i met, and befriended, while in the hospital in minnesota. it was extremely refreshing to see someone wearing SEC colors in the heart of big X country, so i was just happy to have that much. unfortunately, he passed away the day of the LSU - Bama matchup in 2007. it was tough for me to pull against bama that day. fortunately, nick saban makes it a little bit easier nowadays.

First off, I've never encountered a bama fan like you. Always support the SEC. I love how you can come to a board, from a division rival and praise us, as we deserve to return the favor. Good luck this season!. Hopefully our annual game is a good one. SEC FA LIFE BABY!!!!

This could help a young team...and a win against a potential 6-6 NC team is way better than a win against an undefeated Appalachian St.

All I hope is seeing real improvement on the part of the O-line, and the game management by JJ. Hope the offense jumps to a big lead, so that they can put the slimmed down Jarrett Lee in to see what he can do. He also needs the development and confidence.

I would have to agree with ESPN said earlier today on College Game Day. All the pressure is on LSU, Les loses this one and it's not going to be pretty.

Are they really excuses or valid points? If LSU was missing 12 players, and UNC beat us handily, don't you think the same would be said for them? UNC is handicapped considerably now.

Like just about everything else in life, it depends on the circumstances. Since UNC is currently ranked ahead of us (this of course predating the catastrophe that they are dealing with at the moment) my guess is that it wouldn't matter. But even if we win by just a hair, we will be slammed because since they are handicapped, as you put it, we should have slaughtered them.
