Because there is potential (although slim) that Crowton could return next year and have a top 20 offense. Stranger things have happened. So, if Miles does keep him and it works out somehow then obviously he would have made the right decision. If he keeps him and things only continue as they are then serious questions must be raised about the head coach of our program. Lets just pray that he fires Crowton now though.
And I thought we had the potential to be scary good on offense this year even with average QB play. Let's see: Charles Scott - Sr. Keiland Williams - Sr. Richard Dickson - Sr. Brandon LaFell - Sr. Terrance Toliver Reuben Randle Russell Shepard Trindon Holliday - Sr. Ciron Black - Sr. Lyle Hitt - Sr. It just didn't happen this year though, even when both of our RBs were healthy.
ok John boy, a simple question for you. What is your opinion of LSU's offensive performance this season? awesome? good? average? bad? horrid? i don't want to read stats. i'm not interested in you giving me the address to the Board of Supervisors. don't google anything. give me your personal opinion on the LSU offense this year.
How in god's name can ANYONE defend this type of performance? If ANY of us produced results like this at OUR jobs we would be in the unemployment line because WE would be fired! Give me a break...I just don't see how anyone can defend this?!?!?
I told SOOO many people around here in the preseason how "scary" our offense was going to be this year. How "I didn't know how any team would be able to cover all our weapons" with my preseason concern coming on the defensive side of the ball. As stated earlier, a dual threat QB in Jefferson, Scott, Williams, Lafell, Tolliver, Randle, Holiday, Dickson, and cough cough Russell Shephard...how can any team shut down all these weapons?!?!? Only one person can shut down all these weapons.....GARY CROWTON!!!!!!!!!
