nah, it's just a different world when people think they bring out their 24" hibachi, grill up some store bought burgers, and put in a full two hours of eating and drinking before a game and they consider it tailgating. i feel bad for those people. they'll never know...
well, week 1 fsn showed the tennessee vs nobody game, and last week fsn had the sec network and showed the miss st. auburn game. Whats sad, is if they do show it, being that i live in Cenla and have suddenstink, i will get this one in HD and any game on ESPNU will be in SD. So, if that is the case, i welcome SEC network until we get the U in HD here. I am interested to see what time the Alabama game will be next year. Nick will lobby for an early game, and probably get it like last season.
For you Houston Tigers, from the July Houston Chronicle: KTBU (Channel 55) will pick up ESPN Regional’s SEC Network 11 a.m. Saturday football games. Andre Ware will call the games with Dave Neal. There’s no local outlet thus far for the SEC Network’s basketball or baseball games. … So, these 11:20 kickoffs are on over-the-air channel 55, not FSN Houston. This past week, it was the Florida-Troy game in that time slot.
because I have DirecTv and catch about 6 dozen different FSN channels, plus the Sunshine network. about 80% of these channels carried the Tennessee/Mid-Western north corner of south central Kentucky. same thing happened this past week for Florida vs. Troy. had my choice of about 9 channels to watch the game.
I'll be at that game! i was there the last time too to see the 45-0 drubbing. And we won the title that year, maybe its good luck for me to be there haha :hihi:
SEC Network = Jefferson-Pilot/Lincoln-Financial/Raycom They even have the same crew with the Dave Neal & Dave Baker, although I think they added Andre Ware. See the chart linked below for your local affiliate. SEC Sports News » ESPN Regional TV and SEC Introduce 'SEC Network'
The good news, it will be in HD and not that crappy picture on ESPNU. Bad news is I have to start drinking about 8am. Getting too old for that.
