#10 SOUTH CAROLINA @ #2 LSU -- in the Box!!!

While I hate the outcome, I do think this series loss may be the best thing for the Tigers this season. Maybe it will be the kick in the ass that they need to wake them up and realize that they have to work for a championship and not have it handed to them?

 

Game 3 of the series tied 1-1 between #1 UNC and #9 NC State has been cancelled due to weather and will not be made up

#1 UNC won Game One, 7-1
#9 NC State won Game Two, 7-3

Game Two had the largest crowd in NC State history, 3,123. Game One had the 3rd-largest crowd in NC State history, 3,048, which matches the capacity of their stadium. The two schools are separated by only 25 miles.

Sad to see us lose a series

 

The 2009 NC team lost two home series to unranked teams. This means nothing if we can get a 2nd pitcher to step up a little and/or wake our bats back up. Seems we're in a bit of a hitting slump over the past few weeks. Dramatically different from how we started the year...

 

i think if there's such a thing as a "good loss", this would be it. usc been a world series champion and they played with the heart of a champion. we need to take note and learn.
