It's better than I expected. I figured that the pollsters were waiting for a reason to drop us like a rock. However, we didn't lose as badly as they thought we would, so we earned a little respect, I guess.

If we improve on offense, we can beat Bama. Our defense could take care of them now.

I would truly enjoy beating bama's butt. That running game they have looks pretty damn good & bama's d is about as good as Florida's. We will see.

Miles has been letting his d keep him in the game, hoping to get a break here and there. So has Myer, Myer just has a little more on offense.

Definitely a sign of respect for LSU.

    That's a good thing.

People don't realize how hard it is to stay in the game with this ultra talented Florida team, and LSU gave them all they had for the better part of 3 plus quarters.

LSU not far from being #8. I am very happy with this result.

It's about what I thought. Our offense surely doesn't wow anyone and we're struggling to achieve simple aspects of a functioning offense but the reality of it all is that in the larger body of work: Survive and advance.

No matter how lack-luster we are offensively, our only loss is to the #1 team.

Defensively, I think we're moving in the right track. What we lack in sack numbers, we more than make up for in turnovers. Sometimes hurrying a QB is just as good as a sack.

Chavis has done an excellent job, IMO, by taking a defense that is pretty much the same unit from last year's version. Throw in the fact that the players LOST from last season were some of our best (and at an area that has traditionally been our strongest: on the DLine).
