Just basketball, my list would be: Ethan Martin (so very smooth with that dipsy-do in the lane) Mudy Macklin (ole lefty) Howard Carter (Hi-Ceeeeeeeee!) Dwayne Scales (The Astronaut) Ricky Blanton Jerry (Ice) Reynolds (24/7) Don Redden Leonard Mitchell Stromile Swift (Stro) Chris Jackson (CJ)
List starts in my freshman year of 85, and is subject to change on a whim: 1. Tommy Hodson (Mr. Cool at QB) 2. Bradie James (Triumph over personal tragedy--lost both parents during 2000 season and won Peach Bowl Defensive MVP. I will never forget him pointing to the sky when he accepted the trophy) 3. Dalton Hilliard (Unbelievable to watch him run--dude had swivels for hips) 4. Ricky Blanton (6-6 center taking out 7-footers and All Americans on Final Four run.) 5. Kevin Faulk (Some dude behind me at Notre Dame asked me if he was real deal--then Kevin ran back a kick to prove me right.) 6. Brian Kinchen (Clutch) 7. Jacob Hester (Tough) 8. Vernel Singleton (epitome of team player) 9. Kevin Guidry (dated a girl from same dorm as my future wife--told me team would partially open locker door to listen to Pregame. Very cool.) 10. Dale Brown (The personality of LSU when I was there.) GEAUX TIGERS
You liked Dale's early tournament teams, I see (and who wouldn't?) How about some love for the Cookieman, Greg Cook?
