OK. I turned down the radio to listen to the TV announcers late in the game. I don't like that Chris Spielman will be texting Chase Clement. I don't care if he is from Thibodaux, like Spielman's old teammate Erik Andolsek.

 

No, he is hurt. couldn't even put weight on his ankle. Not a good sign.

 

Enough "I don't likes." Here are some likes:

* The running game

LSU still needs to get a lot better before they can dream of repeating as SECW champs, but they showed me so far that they can indeed match last season's success if they play with intensity for 60 minutes against quality opponents.

True. I think CLM is using the second half to identify weaknesses. I see this as a positive. Two more to get ready for Auburn, then we shall see. Punting game sucks to neaux end.

I forgot about returns. Even PRs look decently better. C. Jones made the right decisions at the right times with fair catches vs trying for the return.

 

Well, I guess most at the stadium have heard about Gustav now being a Cat 4 storm and are on their way to drier grounds.

Please please please send that storm somewhere other than the places that will be permanently destroyed, e.g., the Louisiana Gulf Coast.

 

I was surprised Jefferson did not play.

 

I think Clement is Andolsek's nephew ...and speilman and andolsek who got into a fight during the coin toss in 1987 when LSU and Ohio st played became best friends with the Lions.
