That ridiculous. What hurts recruiting is watching an offense that is that pathetic. Watching a team that cant establish an identity. A team that for the most part was excellent on D, yet still allows 100 plays to the opponent because the O cant susatain anything. A few disgruntled fans speaking the truth is what you have here. No one should accept this crap. The performance of LSU since the Bama game will hurt recruiting.

I dont think Stud is the answer, but I think Miles has his stamp on the O. I think he needs a legit OC and give them full control.

Not at all, it's just how do we as fans know what really is going on as far as game planning on O, offensive coaching, etc etc. the way I see it, and I love Miles, is that he seems to be the consistent here. Did Crowton just get lucky in 07? I think 08 freaked Miles out and he has had a stranglehold on this offense Ted Nugent would be proud of. I mean think about it, other than the option, which we still use at times, this offense looks no different than last years. If we get rid of Stud who's to say Les wont still have to have offensive control?

I think we also got lucky last year. The play calling was the same, its just it worked. LSU has an exceptional OL though. The OL dominated everyone except Bama, but did well enough in the regular season. This year, the OL was exceptional and the play calling was a glaring weakness because of it.

Stud was the OC last year too.
Can't say there, but at least getting rid of Stud would suggest that he sees there is a problem and give some hope of change. Until he hires a competent OC that he trusts enough to be hands off don't expect different offensive results.

Luck, and Defense and Special Teams play that was better than any I've ever seen, scoring TD's, pinning teams deep, and leaving short fields for our O. We may never see another year like 2011, defensively and special teams, as good as it gets.

That's true too, but it really seems like the offense hasn't changed much at all since 08. Just less option now because we play a pocket passer.

I don't mind getting a new guy but if its just gonna be another dude calling plays in a Miles concocted offense what's the point?

Agreed, the special teams were really special. The best punting I believe Ive ever seen. THe coverage was amazing. The D was special as well. Two first team All Am CBs. I think the key was that OL though. Everyone knew what was coming but couldnt stop it. You knew the LSU OL was eventually going to take its toll on the opposing D and impose its will.

If Les continues to win 10+ games per year, he will stick around. But I suspect we may start to see more 7 and 8 win seasons. If that happens, he will be gone in the next 5 years. I'm not calling for his head tonight, but I can no longer defend him.
