Yeh dudes a moron... you have a running back over 100 yards on 7 carries with 2 TDs, yet we continue over throwing recievers.
I bet he hires a new Tight Ends coach, since tight end production is the problem, it's the only logical solution.
Just got back to the room, you guys have a pretty good point here. Terrible coaching and game plan, but what the hell....Same topics and discussions just 365 days or so later... I mean here we are again same sinkin boat...
I'm not sure what to think about his game really. On one hand LSU's O didn't do anything, but it's kind of hard to say that the cause wasn't mostly the blocking. Also, Tahj Boyd kind of just pulled the game out of nowhere, just like McFadden did in 07. Also, that offense didn't look like a Stud offense. Not a lot of passes where we had 8 blockers, and we saw those constantly throughout the year. Either way, we need to get a dedicated o-line coach in some way. I know we had a lot of injuries up front, but the blocking has been abysmal all year. Especially pass protection.
This game is the perfect encapsulation of the entire year and Miles coaching. Fucking laughable. The offensive coaching is beyond bad. The only way we get a new OC is if Aleva demands it and I wouldn't hold your breath.
I thought last years NCG was as bad as it could get as far as offensive coaching. Rock bottom, couldn't possibly be worse. I was wrong! The LSU offensive staff has done what seemed impossible and lowered the bar to a new all time low. There isn't a single FBS offensive staff that couldn't do better. I said it earlier and will repeat it here, LSU will never be a legitimate NC contender with Stud as OC.
