I have had issues with Reid's play this year many times. And clearly it would have been nice for him to turn his head on that play. But that was a very, very good play by Clemson and hard to defend much better.

And what is the standard for declaring that "potential" has been "maximized?"

I think one of the issues are hype around certain players.

Prime example is Mett and Shep.

    Both were over hyped.

Shep neither has the skill or ability of a 5*.

You'll know it when/if you see it.

Fair enough, but is that Miles' fault?

Partly. I mean, it his fault to the extent that he is the head coach.

He is a great recruiter, but has missed the mark on key players...

That's another interesting question, how many 5 star busts has Miles recruited and coached? I can think of 3 off the top of the dome, and 2 are defenders, Jai Eugene, Al Woods, and Russell Shepard.

True, but I think other players balance it out.

We just seem to not strike the PP7 deal on O. However Hill is making his case if they learn to feed him the pig skin...

Dude's playing for a NC again, and scoreboard. Look, I criticized Saban when he was here, he's got his flaws. But he is performing at a higher level than Miles IMO. Anyway, you brought Satan up, not me. I was just talking about the game management issues that continue to plague Miles and his coaching staff and his team.

I ask again, please tell me how we are supposed to compliment the inept offense we've seen for years under Miles and the critically panned, lackluster effort we saw against the mighty Clemson.
