Alex Cate was the QB that signed with Oklahoma St (after an original commitment to the Tigers), and we did have Tebow in for a visit that same year, but I don't think Cate's decommitment had anything to do with that.

Supposedly we backed off due to concerns about his father being too involved or something, so he decommitted.

We also "lost" Perrish Cox to Oklahoma St that year after Jai Eugene decommitted from Michigan & signed with LSU.

Can't hurt my feelings by disagreeing with me, I respect everyones right to their own opinion. Just don't start calling people names and insulting them like he does and we are all right.:thumb: :thumb:

    But here is my point.

Was Michigan in the running until Rodriguez was named head coach?

If not, then I contend that Michigan was able to sway him over in just over 3 weeks time. That's assuming he has picked Michigan.

So if that is the case, LSU can make up similiar ground and get him swayed over to us by signing day, which is over 4 weeks away.

Where is my logic going wrong here?

well...one thing is that RR has been recruiting Pryor since the beginning. Seems pretty logical that Pryor has ties to RR....who is now the coach at UM.

"Michigan" hasn't made up any ground.

I believe Pryor will go to Michigan, but it has nothing to do with the school itself & everything to do with its head coach, whom he's had a relationship with for a year now.

Im with you Cparso, I dont see Pryor having real intentions on LSU. I think he is just playing the recruiting game and loving the attention.

Im also pretty sure that UM was on Pryors list before RR was named coach. Its just that since he was named coach UM went to the top of his list. I may be wrong, but Im pretty sure they were on his list.

Id certainly love to have him but Im not at all buying he is interested in coming to LSU. I hope Im wrong though.
