99.9% of these kids, despite them saying they want an education, pick the school that gives them the best chance to go pro.

so when you have the 1st pick overall in the draft, then have a guy who gets 2 INTs in a playoff game (LaRon) and get a WR who gets 990 yds receiving as a rookie (Bowe), the people see that LSU= $$

    And kids want that.

    WVU runs the spread-option offense.

Crowton runs the spread. Not the same.

We would like a mobile QB obviously, because it gives you more flexibility in the play calling.

I Covet him for LSU, I Lust for him for LSU. I want him to come here even if its only a 1% possibility. LSU should try. LSU should always strive for Excellence & that includes recruiting the best players out there. They should have been on him from the beginning unless there is some reason the coaching staff feels he won't fit. Same thing with T.J. Bryant. Why would he not want to come to LSU because Patrick Johnson comitted? Heck they could both play at the same time & compliment each other could they not?
We lost Brendan Beal, Authur Brown, Patchum, Manual, Crist & others - But we tried. Wonder Why did we not try with Pryor?

LSU already has 4 CB commits, plus we took 4 last year - plus 4 safeties in these recruiting classes. We're fine at DB.

LSU corresponded some with Pryor early on, but he didn't show enough interest to make it worth our while. Get over it guys, Pryor was never coming here regardless of how hard or long we recruited him.

I have nothing to "get over". If he doesn't come here, oh well. But it seems funny that you say LSU corresponded with him, and yet in the interview, he says he wishes LSU would have corresponded with him. You're basically saying he showed no interest in LSU, and he's saying LSU showed no interest in him.

I say we start over...no hard feelings. Now, let's talk about you coming to LSU, son.:thumb: What does it hurt?
