Why has O O phased out Etling at QB?

Will he just run dat foosball all 70+ possessions?

In hindsight, the smart thing to do against Alabama was to throw on every down.

Why does it bother you now vs when the million dollar bros were stinking it up? It's almost as if you aren't being genuine.

No one is hailing Eaux as an offensive mind, which is why he kinda gets a pass vs Bama this year with a TE coach.

Hat wasn't a 10-win coach last year. And he'd have been 8-3 at best in the regular season this year, which we will likely be anyway. The difference is (and history backs this) he'd have struggled to put away Mizzou and USM, as he did against Jax St and cowbell, and a myriad of physically outmatched opponents over the years. Not sure he'd have beat the Rebs at all, and am actually pretty confident the team would have gone into a funk after the Bama game and lost to the Pigs. Again, history backs me up on this. Face it, even with little change in the offensive philosophy, this is simply a better team without Miles in charge.

I will agree with you on one point though, Jimbo would not be my choice for the next coach. I'd much rather keep Oeaux, with the assumption that we will upgrade the offensive coordinator, and probably change out a few other assistants.

That was more that just 'a bowl game'. Just a little bit more at stake, don't you think? Maybe he should have learned something the first time we played that year and failed to score a TD. Bama did. Not really gonna go more in depth than that, since the topic has been beat to death and then some.

As for the link you posted, you know what I see? I see 6 straight losses to Bama. All of them except one with Miles as the head coach. So just save your little 'I told you so' rants. It makes you look like a Les Miles offense - very predictable.
