Haven't read this entire thread, so sorry if it's already been discussed, but why would Neil Farrell opt out of the bowl game but accept an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl? I realize they may get paid to play, but that amount is chump change compared to what they would potentially make in the NFL, so why risk injury there instead of your team's bowl game. Surely with the exposure the players get today, there's not that much more of an advantage.
The Senior Bowl is a different animal. All 32 teams will be there, watching him practice, meeting with him, etc. The Senior Bowl is more about everything else leading up to the game than the actual game itself.
