#1 LSU has defeated 6 ranked teams in first 9 games

    This is quite a feat for any college football team, and has never happened in LSU History. Wins over previously ranked #2 & #3 ranked teams and 4 other Top 25 ranked teams.

    The closest team to 2011 LSU, was the LSU 2007 BCS & AP Championship Team, with Wins over 5 ranked teams, but 1 Loss (#18 Kentucky) through 9 games. They would end up defeating 7 ranked teams in 14 games.

    LSU 2003 BCS Championship Team, defeated 5 ranked teams, in 14 games.

    I think if the team reaches their "goal" they would have defeated 9 ranked teams, which includes two teams ranked 2nd and the then #3 Oregon...pretty crazy

    14-0

    Defeating 9 Ranked Top 25 teams in ONE SEASON!

    Damn strong football team!

    To us they will be known as the greatest.
    Espn will say the sec was down. Wvu sucked. Bama beat themselves. Refs screwed bama. We have no qb. Miles was lucky. We have no offense. And any other thing they can pull out their arse. Dicks like Robert smith will never give lsu it's due.
