I think this kid would be an important get. We have talent but little experience at the WR spot, and this is s Demetrius Byrd type signing. With the way things are going lately, I would not be surprised if we are out of the running already. NSD needs to get here quick so we can put this crappy ending of a year behind us and focus on next year's recruiting class and the season ahead. I'll put our odds at 3 %.
we're going to need to show recruits that we intend to throw, and throw effectively, before 5* receivers sign with us again, imo.
we were #3 in the SEC with 21 passing TDs this season, behind only Arkansas (26) and Georgia (37). Bama was #8 with only 16, Florida was #10 with only 13
but not with jj in there. i don't know where we ranked in ypg but our deficiency was magnified in the ncg. point well taken though. rr is not talked about with the top receivers coming out this year. i believe he would be if we would've consistently had someone to throw to him. imho, i believe the offensive futility in the ncg is going to make closing our recruiting season on a high note doubtful. i hope i'm wrong.
