Trades Jefferson traded (see pj's thread). Pacers receive T.J. Ford and Rasho Nesterovic. Raptors receive Jermiane O'Neal. Clippers move up to #4 and the Sonics receive their #7 pick and next years first round pick. Mock Ford and a couple other snow have Randolph going to the Nets and the Trailblazers (10 & 13). However, most sites are saying both teams are trying to move their picks, so who knows what that means for Randolph. Links Draft Watch Draft Express NBADraft.net ESPN Mock
this seems a lil crazy but Pacers are calling O'neal trade "Speculation but now O'neal has came out and confirmed the trade. Thanks for starting a draft thread TB3 with all these trades already seems like there'll be alot to talk about. Oh yeah Hornets still having a draft party tonight if anyone's interested. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/sports/AP-BKN-Raptors-Pacers-Trade.html?_r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin If O'neal gets healthy him and Bosh will be nice.
The Hornets gave their pick (#28) to the Blazers but I can not remember what they got in return. I expect to see a lot of trades and big moves from teams trying to clear cap space for the Lebron James sweepstakes in two years.
Hornets are getting Cash but they haven't said how much yet its susposedly going to help them "land top FAs" I thought they couldnt waited to see who would fall there before they traded the pick. They have Celtics at 30 getting C 7'2 Roy Hibertt from Georgetown and Detroit at 29 gettin Chris Douglas-Roberts. Apparently thats what both New York teams are getting ready for and Jay'z thinks his relationship with LeBron will help the Nets out also. D wade and some others will be FA that year also.
Hoping the Jazz take Hibbert and if he develops we could move Boozer to PF which I think would be a better fit for him.
Yeah I have heard them but for next year when he is a FA. Jazz will keep on ticking like a Sloan team no matter what happens but IMO Boozer would be stupid to leave the Jazz who are a young team who will get better with age to a you do not know what you are going to get Miami team. Question becomes $$$ which the Jazz will offer a fair and competitive price for his worth and a shot at the championship for the next few years or mediocrity and more money. Don't see the Heat being a stable contender over the next few years while going after big trades for immediate success and praying they pan out.
I was obviously lied to earleir. Russell Westbrook, who i believe I listed as the biggest sleeper in the other thread just picked. Of course when i said that he was going in the 16-20 range...this might be sort of high for him. Love to Grizzlies.
