Sources: Miami Dolphins QB Chad Pennington done for season - ESPN

Pennington (age 33) wll miss the rest of the season due to a torn capsule in his throwing shoulder, the same shoulder he had surgery on in 2004 and again in 2005.

TE Rasono: "We're going to have to go out there with [Chad] Henne, who is a lot less experienced...But we have a lot of faith in Chad. He's a smart guy, a great leader and fun to play with."

WR Camarillo: "We've got faith in [Henne's] quarterbacking abilities."

Pennington won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award twice, in 2006 and 2008. Maybe he pulls of a hat trick by winning it again in 2010.

since the fins are 0-3 this is kind of a blessing in disguise. henne is going to be the starter next year and this just gives him more practice. pat white will have a role similar to philadelphias third string qb.

Listening to several comments Jerry Jones has been making lately, I bet he'd be willing to give them Romo and his outrageous contract if they'd take them.

nah the dolphins will get this under control they have a great coaching staff, and Bill Parcells is a football genius. If he had stayed 1 more year with the Cowboys they would have at least played the Patriots for a superbowl. I think this is a blessing because it gets a sub par quarterback out of the way. I think they finish this season out either 8-8 or 9-7. they run the ball, and they play good defense, if Henne can just be a downfield threat, they will be a good team.

I think the Chiefs traded QB Thigpen to the 'Phins today.
