Man, thats crazy to hear that about Randle, but their are alot of rumors. On another board where his brother supposedly post, he said the rumors are all false. That he hasnt made a decision.

ok i know you guys are probably tired of these threads so i apologize in advance for starting another one.

if there is any new info on my brother, noone knows it but him.

my dad called me 2 nights ago wondering if he had even said anything to me. i dont even talk to him about recruiting unless he brings it up which has not been much since september.

the rumor about wednesday, we dont know where that came from, my dad was not even going to be in town wednesday and when he decides where he is going he will say it then, not make a huge spectical of it.

contrary to what a lot of people say, he is not enjoying this process nor the attention, but believe what you want.

as for the rumor i spoke to an alabama poster about where my brother was going, the individual told me he never said that. i dont read bol so all i can go on is what he told me. what we talked about had nothing to do with my brotheres recruiting anyway. i think because people saw him ask for my email it was just assumed, so no reason to attack him on this, unless he is lying to me about what he said. no big deal to me anyway.

so i ask that you guys not call my brother an idiot, or say he should know by now. you all are adults and will and can do what you want, but JMO.

he may choose bama, right now i dont know. he may choose lsu, right now i dont know. he may choose one of the other 79 schools, right now i dont know.

but just wanted to chime in on this topic and see if it would bring some answers to this.

That should quell some fears or assumptions at least. And the best response I read was this:

Sounds like the McKnight situation, we are bothering the recruits too much these days. What ever happened to just giving them cars and their parents houses to live nearby.

Leon called and said he knew that Les Miles could not mention names of recruits on the show, but wanted to know how LSU stands with a tall Randy Moss type recruit from North Louisiana. The recruit that Leon was referring to is Rueben Randle of Bastrop. Miles reply was that with Demetrius Byrd leaving at the end of this season LSU could use a great wide receiver who could step in and play and also take a few snaps in the backfield next season. Miles said that he has made his case with the super prospect and hopes that he signs with LSU.

Miles seems very confident he made his case and Miles told him he will get some chances behind center. They let him play QB during the camp as well. Seems to be important to Randle for awhile now and I am Miles understands that.

When I tried to tell you guys this I was shot down. I know I'm a newbie and you guys have been at this for a while, but this particular kid, I know about. Right now, his focus is on the Superdome and playing for another state title on December 13. He hasn't even committed to an all-star game because of this, but I'm pretty sure he'll play in one unless he decides to graduate early (which he can).

So here's a bit of information that can be released now that it's no longer a factor. Everyone spent so much time harping on Miami and Bama, but forgot about Michigan. Good thing Big Blue Nation isn't treating Coach Rodriguez to well up there. A stable situation could've been dangerous. Don't forget, he did pretty well at West Virginia on the talents of an athletic QB from the South, who just so happened to play WR before he played QB in high school, and will likely play WR as a pro. Rodriguez also coached his position coach from 2007 while he was at Tulane. There may have been a connection there...

Radio is learning the lesson that he didn't learn in college.

Pat White will have a rude awakening once he tries to play WR in the NFL. He won't have the route running and hands down nearly as much as if he'd have listened to.... well.... everyone except RR.

Maybe so, but his vision and athleticism will get him a decent shot. He'll see plenty of short passes and kickoff/punt returns. Too good athletically to not get a chance. It's up to him to make the most of it.
