Sounds like Saban tried to report LSU for recruiting violations for the Capitol trip but he assumed it was during RR's official visit which it was not. The trip occurred during the 1st day he came in on his own dime and the people he meet with at the capitol were not LSU boosters or affiliated with LSU.

I would also assume that this burnt any bridge Saban had left with Randle as well.

I can't say that all of this is true because I do not know where he received the information but interesting none the less.

So let me get this straight, the coach of Alabama, tries to report a recruiting violation on LSU and a kid that they are desperately trying to recruit. Then it turns out to be a false violation.
Wow!

Gotta hand to Saban, he has balls if nothing else.

Of course we did. Their coach and their program is the only one in the entire SEC who is morally upright, rule following, all knowing judge of talent.

For some reason, they have more coach worship at bama than anywhere else.

I wonder if they thought he was that great when he was at LSU??

Well, we did our research ahead of time on this one and it payed off.

Only way it could have been considered a recruiting violation would be if the visit took place during an official visit, Randle and his family meet with LSU alumnus/boosters, or he got an offer for the internship on the spot.

None of those situations occurred due to our careful planning.

Well I guess we know he's not going to Bama. If I were Islstl or Bhelm, I would update my percentages.

I am already at 99% and won't put it to 100% until he signs the dotted line. I refuse to use decimals.:wave:

In keeping with the overriding trend of recent weeks, I will put it at 98 percent. :hihi:

Didn't realize you were that high. Last I remember was 96 or 98.
