The difference between Moss and a lot of those guys is that Moss's family doesn't need him to start earning money to support them.

If we hadn't secured Gilbert in this recruiting class I'd agree with that assessment. Gilbert will be ready to make an impact day 1.

I think Delpit, Jefferson, and Chaisson are definitely leaving. All are first rounders or at worst a high second rounder.

I don't see why Charles, Moss, Deculus, Cushenberry, or anyone else leaves early. You aren't a first rounder, maybe you can improve your stock. That said, we don't know their situation. Plus, I can't say no to a kid leaving school to live out their dreams. Although, in many cases, they should return.

If they win the ship, they all gone.

If you can make an NFL roster you are guaranteed nearly 500K a year.

Only ss long as you are on a roster. Then there's tax and agents fees. Unless you make it to your second contract you have no long term financial security

I think Deculus would benefit from another year. Unless he is worried about someone coming in and taking the starting job from him.

Me too. In fact, I think he'd benefit from a change in position. He's definitely improved as the season progressed, but I don't think he's got NFL tackle footwork. Move to guard, especially if Dumervil walks in and lights things up.

On the TD vs OU he looked like Gronk, same top speed and then bowls over the tackler to will himself into the endzone.

Every NFL scout probably thought the same thing. He'll go day 2 now.
