1. And that's why I've avoided having "minor" back surgery.
  2. Ask Steve kerr about that.
  3. Or Tiger

We are what, 120-130 days out? Can't get back by then huh?

  4. Who da fuck knows. Joe Montana had back surgery during the season and came back to play great in the last few games. I don't remember if that was a 49ers Super Bowl year.
  5. The Offense will get better. Zone blocking and the run reads are totally different. It takes a little while. Have to run some QB draws to keep the D honest. Need to work in some shorter, timing style passing routes. Overall I liked what I saw. Give it some time to gel. The second half of the season should be about right.
  6. Our fan base doesn't have the same degree of patience that you seem to have.
  7. That explains Coach O's Joe Montana reference the other day.
  8. Etling is not the QB you want to see on the run draw and if you substitute to run it you are just telegraphing the play. Much and Flynn could make that play an effective threat but it's not part of Danny Boy's skill set.
  9. Joe got hurt in the 1st game of the season, came back and played in the final eight,.. was co-recipient of the 1986 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, but he threw more interceptions than touchdown passes. The 49ers finished the season with a record of 10–5–1. The Giants defeated the 49ers in the playoffs, where Montana was injured again from a hit by Jim Burt.
  10. First injury was on a sack by DT Leonard Marshall from LSU.
