Detillier on Smith: "Excellent size, good foot speed (4.49 at the combine), first rate body control".....catches the ball away from his body...works the short and intermediate field well...does a nice job setting up a DB and gaining separation...has some concentration issues, will drop an easy pass now and then....good downfield blocker....good route runner, but will need to expand his route tree....(summing up) major college sleeper.

Detillier had him as his 10th WR and number 79 overall. I think this is a helluva pick.

4.49 isn't blazing fast. His size doesn't project him in the slot.

No, but I think its a little faster than Thomas ran at the combine. Doesn't seem to hinder him.

Saints reach in the 4th round, taking Florida State offensive tackle Rick Leonard. NFL.com projected him going undrafted. Saints apparently like the 6-7, 315 pounder, who switched from DE to OT after his sophomore season and started at RT his last 2 years. Detillier had him as his #25 OT.

When I first saw it online the logo by Etling's name was a Dolphin.
