1. Re: Trent Richardson

Urban has a counterpart all right! He said in the Post MNC interview.."a top recruit would have to be freakin' nuts not come to place like florida"

    arrogance at the highest level...
  2. Re: Trent Richardson

He is right though, a recruit would be crazy not to go to a place like Florida. Great weather, hot girls, great football program with multiple NCs, etc.

LSU is definitely a place like Florida, just with hotter girls and a classier coach.

  3. Re: Trent Richardson

Of course they have a counter point, but it hasn't worked. That is why they have yet to get a real RB in Meyer's time there.
  4. Re: Trent Richardson

Richardson will indeed make a visit to LSU this weekend and his mother and brother will be accompanying him.

Bama nation is getting a little bit worried as we speak.

My 70/20/10 split previously mentioned will change quite a bit if this does indeed occur.
  5. Re: Trent Richardson

    That's good to know. :thumb:
  6. Re: Trent Richardson

Do you bring the family if you're already a 'lock' to a school?

For instance.. if Davenport visited TN would he bring his parents? I was under the impression that alot of times recruits just carpool together and make the trip.
  7. Re: Trent Richardson

    No you certainly don't.

That's what perked up my ears.

Put it this way, with Pratt leaving, LSU is in perfect position to make a run at Richardson and the timing could not be more perfect. I just don't know it that will actually happen, however.
  8. Re: Trent Richardson

If that is true it is encouraging news. However if the NCAA allows LSU to pay the family's way they may just want a free weekend. Do they have relatives around Baton Rouge? I'm just being "cautiously pessimistic".
  9. Re: Trent Richardson

I'm counting against it. It's just a sick sort of payback for the slight squirming Bama had us doing with RR earlier in the year.

    (or had me doing, lmao)
  10. Re: Trent Richardson

His brother goes to UL-L, I believe. Bhelm posted La tech in another thread, but I always thought it was UL-L. Maybe Bhelm can clear it up.
