1. Re: Eddie Lacy

Now that we lost Pratt, I am sure LSU in hindsight is regretting not showing Lacy more love.
  2. Re: Eddie Lacy

    :D

Lache Seatrunk says, " I don't think you will regret it too much" :D
  3. Re: Eddie Lacy

    Totally different back.

But you're right, he will be special. He just won't be a 25 carries per game back, however. We'd end up using him out of the backfield catching the ball as well as mixing him into our running game. Get him in space and watch him do his thing, ala Reggie Bush.
  4. Re: Eddie Lacy

I'm just kind of interested in who that "Plan B" Sonny was alluding to is.
  5. Re: Eddie Lacy

Lacy would have made the most sense. You bring him back in 2010 after a sign and place. Ford more than likely is redshirted and they could have both come in ready for the 2010 season.

Could LSU make a push for someone like Dontae Aycock, who seems like a sure bet to GTech? He's a power speed back, 16th best RB on rivals (Lacy is #13, for reference)? The kid is out of Florida.

Given the fact GTech appears to be a haven for RBs, it's very very unlikely.
  6. Re: Eddie Lacy

Once again, it wasn't in a Rivals article so it must be unwarranted...
  7. Re: Eddie Lacy

    No reason to oversimplify things.

I just think the accounts are 2nd and 3rd hand at best. You know how that goes.
  8. Re: Eddie Lacy

I know that since none of us go to HS there, it's the only info we could possibly get. It does not seem likely that all of the info we have gotten is completely fabricated.

    Believe what you want....
  9. Re: Eddie Lacy

    Christine Michael moreso than Lacy.
  10. Re: Eddie Lacy

Don't look now, but Lacy may appear on LSU's campus next weekend.

If he does, I predict he will be part of the class of 2009 or a sign and place at worst.
