Nah i disagree. I think Herman will have the better record and in 4 years people will be calling for O to be fired.

Living in Dallas, I saw the same level of enthusiasm for the Texas program 3 years ago from the media when Charlie came on board. But the reality is that Texas hasn't been a great football team for many years and they are really bad right now. Not bowl eligible and losing to Kansas is not a good place to be. So even if Herman is the next Harbaugh, it will take him a couple years to rebuild. I am going with Coach O.

I like O. As long as he comes at a bargain price that allows us to offer the best OC and DC available, I'm there. I believe O may be to an LSU defense what CLM was to the offense. His job should be as CEO only. (CEO in this instance is chief operating officer, not his formal name.)

That's what I'm hoping but I'm not sure this has been tried to this extent before. Should be interesting.
