1. Don't you wish they had given the job to Coach Oeaux when they had the chance.

  2. Yes and no. I was in favor of a 1-2 year contract, nothing long-term, and give him the opportunity to prove himself. And he was certainly a better choice than sardrunkian. That said, while I understand completely WHY he was pissed, I did not like the way he left. He kept calling the players "his boys" and "his family" but then he bailed before the bowl game. Emotion is great but it often has short-term impact. Which is precisely why we won several games when he took the interim job but ended up losing, and badly, to both notre dame and ucla. Those are 2 games that you just don't lose. Plus, USC Football was about to come off of sanctions, we had a President with zero appreciation for the program, and an AD who was clearly having medical and leadership issues. I just don't see how Ed, or anyone really, would have been successful.

Right place, right time. That's where Ed is.
  3. I have actually seen projections that say that
  4. Most of the projections I have seen have us at 4th and a few at 5th or 6th.
  5. 4th it is.

  6. Pretty much how I feel too. I just want, so bad, to beat Bama.

  7. Maybe Pete Carroll would be looking at coming back to college Not sure they would hire him after the probation thing but it is clear Helton isn't the answer.
  8. There are some in the crowd who can't let go of the PC years and want him back. I am not part of that crowd. He wouldn't come back, I don't think his ego would allow it. And no, USC wouldn't bring back anyone with sanction stench.
  9. Good call
