I think O wanted Bo gone by years end. The sideline blow up at Alabama coupled with his public comments implying that Bo deviated from their agreed upon game plan make me think he was fed up. O is loyal to LSU over any individual I think. And everyone knew Bo was hurting the team. Maybe I’m naive though.
I don't think Scott is going to force anyone down O's throat. But he and others are damn sure going to have a voice in O's choices.
Pure speculation. I doubt if you have anything to back up your comment that Oeaux is not calling the shots. I think he picked Pelini and Linehan and it his his mess to clean up. The thing he doesn’t control is the $. So he is probably on a tight budget and needs buy-in from those who do control the budget. Wether he made the staff changes or not, his job is on the line based on next season
