1. I saw that on Rivals. Great News. LSU has the edge for now. Rivals has him listed as the #3 overall prospect in the nation and the #4 overall prospect to come out of Florida. How is that possible? If he is #3 in the nation you would think he would be at least #3 in Florida. Curious math.
  2. I noticed that a couple of times with rivals. Just finished watching the rivals video I really hope he puts on that LSU hat.
  3. they update the rivals 100 monthly.

state rankings are done before and after the seasons.
  4. this is awesome news and something to cheer me up after being disappointed by the saints vs. Bears:geaux:
  5. Keep in mind he has been quoted multiple times contradicting earlier statements, it wouldn't surprise me if he comes out and says Miami is back in it, or even his leader, in the future.
  6. True but we are only about a month away from signing day now. I would be ecstatic if we got him.
  7. Johnson is an early enrollee. Whoever he commits to on Jan 5th, he will be on campus shortly there after.

I think it will be LSU, and he'll get a lot of PT next year.

  9. He really has played the media and many of us who enjoy the recruiting scene so in the end, I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a Cane afterall. However, as talented as he is, there has to be a bit of concern over his "me" attitude. He's growing into a problem child who loves attention good or bad. Luckily for him, his talent is big enough for most coaches to overlook the other stuff.

  10. If this kid wants to accomplish the following next year:

    1) Early PT as a true freshman
    2) Potential NC every year

then LSU is the obvious answer
